Mission Statement
Black and Beautiful Entertainment is both a brand a network that sets out to inspire, educate, and entertain black youth globally through quality media. It is our mission to use our talents to for those three things, in addition to helping others do the same. Whether it be supporting the projects of our peers or helping our peers develop their passions into quality platforms, we are dedicated to helping those around us grow.
About Us
THE ORIGINAL B.A.B.E.'s are a group of five young women from Howard University with diverse talents. After a casual conversation in the cafeteria, Kalene expressed her interest in starting a YouTube channel about makeup and beauty. Her only problem was that she didn't have the equipment or know how to edit videos. Then Brittany jumped in and expressed how she wanted to start vlogging and incorporating it into her print blog. She, too, did not have the eqiptment or the technical skills for her channel. Savannah had both a camera and the software for video editing, so she offered to help them. After talking about all the talent here at Howard, they decided to bring in two more girls with different talents to showcase - Jaidah (photography) and Aziza (modeling). And thus, B.A.B.E. was born.
